Grid settings command

Use this command to modify the active document grid settings:

In this dialog you can change the document grid settings as follows:

- grid units: inches, centimeters or millimeters. When inches are chosen, all measurement and scale conversion are done in inches, feet and miles. When centimeters or millimeters are chosen, all scale conversion are done in centimeters, meters and kilometers. This parameter is used in the circuit property dialog to display scale converted circuit length.

- show/hide major grid in edit views

- show/hide minor grid in edit views

- snap to grid: objects are snapped to the minor when this option is switched on

- change the grid resolution width and height. The resolution unit is specified in current selected grid unit.

- select the rotating step angle value. Used while rotating track sections and attached circuit

The minor grid is used to snap objects.

Changing the grid unit or the grid resolution does not change the zoom. To change the zoom, select the menu item View / Zoom.
